I am so so so impressed by A$AP Ferg and Pi'erre Bourne's recent projects.
I was late to the party with 'The Life of Pi'erre 4' as it came out back in June and in fact, the whole TLOP series is pretty new to me. I stumbled across it really randomly. I of course found out about him as "Yo, Pierre you wanna come out here?" The producer of Playboi Carti's 'Magnolia' one of my favourite productions in the last 5 years. I love his production style in general and I don't know why but strongly it reminds me of Clams Casino's work on 'Live.Love.A$AP' - which I also loved.
I know he just put out a co-billed project with Young Nudy (who?! can't keep up these days) which I want to give a listen to as well.
Now with A$AP Ferg, I've loved his flow and style since the early A$AP Mob days but I felt like most of his projects weren't as consistently good as his work as a featured artist. But 'Floor Seats' is a lot more up my alley. I LOVE the production and the collabs on it, especially Rico Nasty on 'Butt Naked' and A$AP Rocky on 'Pups.'
'Monster' still slaps idc! I've really come to appreciate Kanye's verse and of course Nicki's only gets better as time goes on. I love NAO so much but I really don't listen to her as much as I ought to - Orbit is such a beautifully constructed song, like it legit makes me want to cry. Maybach Music 2 is probably my favourite MM song by Ross. 'Ye x Pain... need I say more? Although, MM 3 is also one of my favourites.
