This week's top 6: July 31st 2019

Is summer not a good time to release an album or something? Because I've been really underwhelmed with a lot of the projects that have been released. Now if you're talking singles, then those, for the most part have been consistent and summertime-friendly. I know I was supposed to do a review of Big K.R.I.T's new project but I was actually kind of disappointed on first listen but I know it deserves a few more listens before I make a genuine review, same with The Lion King: The Gift, same with The Big Day and a bunch more. So you know me, I'll just stick to listening to come classics and favorites. Speaking of, I'm so glad Drake decided to put out this care package because he has so many hits that he randomly dropped throughout the years. You guys didn't respect '4pm in Calabasas' and it shows!

As always, I bring to you an eclectic group of songs, all of which are current or stand out tracks from recent projects.

1. Blood Orange - I Wanna C U
2. Majid Jordan feat. Khalid - Caught Up
3. Big K.R.I.T. feat. Lil Wayne & Saweetie - Addiction
4. Flying Lotus feat. Anderson .Paak - More
5. Alex Isley - Water & Air
6. J Balvin & Bad Bunny feat. Mr Eazi - COMO UN BEBE

Honorable mention: Metro Boomin feat. Gunna - Space Cadet
